Love is universal, and Tiffany & Co.‘s festive ad is an ode to it, the brand using the universal language of love to write a captivating story about its beautiful expressions – from romantic, to familiar, and self-appreciation.
Starring actress and global House ambassador, Anya Taylor-Joy, the “Love is a Gift” ad, directed by Jonas Lindstroem, takes viewers on a journey around the world, from NYC to London, Tokyo, and back to the brand’s birthplace, on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Throughout the 90-second-long film, we see the actress witnessing precious moments shared by a couple, a family, and a lady — each story centered on the unmistakable Tiffany Blue Box®.
Wearing jewelry from the brand‘s most iconic collections, such as HardWear, Lock, T, Knot, and the new Bird on a Rock line, the actress follows the path described by a white satin ribbon. Guiding her through each chapter of this snowy story, the ribbon also symbolizes connection, illustrating the various facets of love.
The holiday campaign debuted globally on October 28, and runs across digital platforms and social media. With still imagery shot by Carlijn Jacobs, the “Love is a Gift” ad builds on last year’s story, “With love, Since 1837.” Just like the previous spot, this year’s follows the same successful formula — actress Taylor-Joy, director Lindstroem, photographer Jacobs, agency Anomaly — a team whose combined talent once again puts Tiffany & Co.’s timeless elegance into the spotlight.
